Services

Counseling

Our counseling services encompass a comprehensive approach utilizing Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each of these modalities plays a unique role in addressing various aspects of an individual's mental health and well-being. Internal Family Systems helps clients explore and understand their inner selves and dynamics, DBT equips individuals with skills to manage emotions and relationships effectively, EMDR aids in processing traumatic experiences, Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps individuals heal by identifying and understanding different “parts” of themselves, reducing internal conflict, and strengthening self-leadership to support lasting emotional well-being and recovery, and CBT assists in identifying and changing negative thought patterns. Through the integration of these evidence-based practices, our counseling aims to holistically support individuals in their journey towards healing and growth.

Case Management

Case management involves developing a comprehensive plan to address specific goals in an individual's life. By working closely with clients, case managers can create and implement strategies that are tailored to meet their unique needs and aspirations. Through regular assessments, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments, case management ensures that clients are supported in achieving their objectives effectively and efficiently. This structured approach offers guidance, resources, and coordination of services, ultimately fostering positive outcomes and empowering individuals to succeed in various aspects of their lives.

Peer Mentorship

C.L.I.M.B. (Culture, Life Skills, Internal Healing, Mindfulness, and Balance) is a culturally responsive, recovery-oriented framework used to train and supervise peer mentors while supporting clients in achieving meaningful, self-identified goals. The model recognizes that healing is most effective when services honor a person’s cultural identity, build practical life skills, and address emotional and internal growth. Peer mentors are trained to use trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches that respect lived experience and promote empowerment, connection, and community engagement.

Through C.L.I.M.B., peer mentors help clients develop coping strategies, emotional awareness, daily living skills, and healthy routines that support long-term wellness. Supervisors use the same framework to guide mentoring, ensure service quality, and support peer staff wellness and professional growth. This integrated approach promotes balanced recovery across mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social domains—helping clients build sustainable paths toward stability, purpose, and independence.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Healing and Strengthening Families and Individuals, PLLC provides comprehensive rehabilitation services that integrate proven Western evidence-based practices with culturally grounded, community-centered approaches to support whole-person healing. Our services are trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and guided by our C.L.I.M.B. framework—Culture, Life Skills, Internal Healing, Mindfulness, and Balance—which ensures care addresses both clinical needs and everyday functioning. Through C.L.I.M.B., clients and families build practical skills, strengthen emotional regulation, reconnect with cultural and personal identity, and develop healthy routines that support long-term recovery. By blending clinical best practices with culturally responsive services, we promote resilience, restore balance, and empower individuals and families to achieve stability, purpose, and meaningful community participation. Our approach supports sustainable healing by addressing mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social well-being together.
